"TIRI growing with its customers"
Tokyo's small and medium sized enterprises are up against rapidly changed technological innovations and the globalization of the surrounding economy.
Now the Tokyo Metropolitan Government have been requested for prompt and effective supports on not only basic techniques but also nano-sized, information, and other advanced technology. Furthermore new topics on environments, energy-saving, declining birthrate and aging, and public welfare are also emerging.
In April of 2006, the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute (TIRI) has been restructured to a local independent administrative institution, which enables more rapid and flexible activities for technical supports. In addition, based on Metropolitan Government's strategy, TIRI opened new institutes at Tama area, hillside of Tokyo, in February of 2010 and opened new headquarters at Rinkai area, bayside of Tokyo, in October 2011 respectively.
The mission of TIRI is to promote developments of the small and medium sized enterprises through technology, and thus to contribute the quality of life in Tokyo. TIRI's flexible management and assistance with high quality which meet industrial needs make them sure.We are always open to all customers. We are eager to solve all kinds of technical problems!
